Free Bleeding and Re-Births

I spent my birthday, free bleeding in my temple with roses on a powerful shamanic medicine journey with the rain outside surrounding me with the sound of water.

It began with a massive grief ritual as I could see how messy and dirty, smelly and uncivilised blood has become in culture. Something to be hidden and pretend it doesn’t belong.

For the first time, I had time to listen to the message my blood was revealing, every single trickle was a revelation.

Breathing

Seeing the drama and stories that make up life and existence. The conspiracies, the journey of life on this planet, the names, the labels and the identification to things.

And yet she…. She moves in patterns, creating constantly, evolving, spiralling in and out as galaxies or as the cells and atoms in everything. A great dance that requires the ears to listen to the subtlest of music that emerges from her great wisdom and mystery.

I could see how tense I was in my demand to be something, someone. The gentle dissolving of my pride and my emotional reactions to life outside.

What was birthed from my womb space was an incredible curiosity. To look deeper into things, the innovations and solutions that arise from everything that is deemed to be a problem or obstacle. The silence of her weaving, witnessing the way things shift and change all the time yet require a silence of mind to do so and an openness of heart through innocent wonder.

Nature is amazing and requires no saving.

There are so many innovations, technologies and inventions that work in symbiosis and intuitively with nature that can and will solve so much of humanities discomfort.

The disconnect from sacred blood I feel is something to speak out about. Half the population bleed, will bleed or have bled. And this is sacred water.

The connection between our water systems, our blood and innovations are linked I feel. In some countries still 80%+ of girls are circumcised to feel no pleasure. This is not ok, as we are connected. As is the great web of blood that connects life together, from the human to animal king/queendoms.

How we honour blood is how we honour life.
